  • Want softer, smoother, more hydrated skin?

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural structural component of the skin, and is present in connective tissue throughout the human body. It has been well documented that newborn skin contains large amounts of HA and that it decreases as we age.  Therefore, a practical way to recapture youth is by applying pure HA topically to revitalize the damaged and decreased HA content of the skin. It penetrates the skin’s upper layers to improve and benefit the skin.

    1. Hyaluronic acid molecules have a unique ability to attract and retain more than 1,000 times their weight in water…thus HA is a hydration agent to your skin.
    2. HA firms, plumps and smooths skin for a younger, fresher, more radiant look and feel.
    3. HA penetrates the skin’s layers better and restores natural and youthful elasticity to the skin.
    4. HA can be used for post laser treatments, post peels, and sunburns.
    5. HA is fantastic for itchy, flaky red skin that gets red and is scaly and dry.
    6. HA also provides antioxidant defense against free-radical damage and reduces inflammation.

  • Hyaluronic Acid and It's Benefits

0 comments / Posted on by Betty Morris

One of the qualities of youthful skin is its ability to hold water and retain a balanced amount of moisture.  Remember how dewy and soft a baby’s skin always looks?  It is because babies are born with a high amount of Hyaluronic Acid in their skin. It penetrates the skin’s upper layers to improve and support the skin.

The benefits of Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, HA) are boundless, and it is one of the most interesting ingredients in skin care today. Naturally found in the body, hyaluronic acid hydrates, moisturizes, and creates fullness, allowing your skin to become more youthful and radiant.  While we can’t turn back the clock on our age, we can do some things to possibly help restore our skins’ HA content to hydrate and moisturize it for a fresher, more supple look and feel.  The benefits of using Hyaluronic Acid are exciting!

    1. Hyaluronic acid is a gift to your skin. It plumps and smooths your skin for a more soft and radiant complexion.
    2. Hyaluronic acid molecules have a unique ability to attract and retain more than 1,000 times their weight in water…thus HA acts as a hydration agent to your skin.
    3. HA firms, plumps and smooths skin for a younger, fresher, more radiant look and feel.
    4. HA penetrates the skin’s layers better and restores natural and youthful elasticity to the skin.
    5. HA can be used for post laser treatments, post peels, and sunburns.
    6. HA is fantastic for itchy, flaky red skin that gets red and is scaly and dry.
    7. HA is acceptable for all skin types. From oily skin to dry or sensitive skin, hyaluronic acid delivers concentrated moisture and long-lasting hydration properties, yet it is incredibly gentle with a lightweight texture.
    8. Different from collagen, hyaluronic acid is able to penetrate the skin’s upper layers to moisturize and hydrate the skin when it is applied topically in a serum or cream.  It forms an air permeable layer and penetrates into the dermis, thus giving skin more elasticity and suppleness. The protective barrier on the skin locks in moisture, which gives the skin a youthful appearance.

The moisturizing and hydration qualities of Hyaluronic Acid cannot be ignored.  They are paramount with regard to your skin and its aging process.  Our skin doesn’t maintain moisture as it once did when we were younger, and the loss of firmness, pliancy and suppleness is of great concern.  Hyaluronic Acid will revitalize skin’s outer layer and enhance your skin’s moisture content beyond compare to give you the look and feel of a more youthful hydrated appearance.

Want to stay looking younger and attractive?
Cynergy Health Science - We can help you!

Our Cynergy Health Science Daily Facial Moisturizer Cream is a natural facial moisturizer that is organic and contains antioxidants from Pomegranate Extract as well as KuKui Nut Oil which helps soothe skin after sunburns, heal psoriasis and dry skin. It is also a good moisturizer for oily or acne-prone skin, helping to reduce blemishes and the beginnings of rosacea. Results have been seen in 3-4 days. Our facial moisturizer is formulated for all skin types and can be used daily, both morning and evening.

At Cynergy Health Science, we have formulated an organic, daily facial moisturizer and anti-aging lotion which relieves the appearance of aging skin, blemishes and blotchiness. We call this a "face finishing moisturizer". Along with other antioxidants like Vitamins C and E, it also contains Ellagic Acid which helps to protect the skin from cellular damage caused by sun and chemical exposure, both of which lead to a proliferation of free radicals. These free radicals cause a breakdown in the production of collagen, one of the essential supporting proteins that give skin elasticity and flexibility. Without adequate collagen production, skin begins to sag and fine lines and wrinkles appear. Antioxidants such as Ellagic Acid inhibit this process, destroying free radicals thus allowing collagen production to go on unimpeded. But Ellagic Acid is no ordinary antioxidant! It also has the ability to directly inhibit certain known carcinogens, such as nitrosamines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, from binding to DNA. This further protects skin on a cellular level against the ravages of UV radiation.

Cynergy Health Science has formulated the most effective ANTI-AGING products found in today's market. Our skin care line is packed full of ANTIOXIDANTS, VITAMINS, MINERALS and the latest technology to give you the HEALTHIEST and most RADIANT skin possible.

  • Rejuvenate Your Skin with Natural and Organic Skin Care Products

Wrinkling is a natural part of aging, but you can still slow the process down by taking good care of your skin.  Good exfoliation and hydration is key in combating fine lines and wrinkles.  Your skin regenerates about every 28 days. As new skin cells are made, old, dead skin cells rise to the outer layers of your skin. Some of these dead skin cells fall off, but others stick to the surface of the skin.  These dead skin cells build up on your skin and wreak havoc on your complexion. They contribute to breakouts, larger looking pores, and give your skin a dull, drab appearance.   Removing these dead skin cells improves hydration and circulation of your skin, thus minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Your skin will be smoother and firmer.

Our Natural and Organic Marula Enzyme face mask with Papain (Papaya Enzyme) and Dead Sea Silt rejuvenates and effectively restores your skin to a well-balanced and hydrated state.  The Papain enzyme acts as an exfoliator by dissolving and breaking down the proteins in dead skin. Dead Sea Silt gently dissolves dead skin cells leaving your skin with good circulation, emolliency, and hydration. This best facial mask also has Niacin, which is a miracle worker in keeping skin healthy, soft, and glowing. It improves the skin cells and makes them firm, therefore rendering good skin color and suppleness after washing off the mask.

Rejuvenate your skin and reclaim that youthful glow you once had!  You can do this by living a healthy lifestyle that will keep your skin as young looking as possible and by exfoliating and hydrating your skin.    Use our Marula Masque in your skin care regimen along with other Cynergy Health Science Products.  It is the best face mask you will find on the market today!

    Must-Have Moisturizer Ingredients

So…are you fumbling your way through the department stores, staring at the shelves, trying to figure out which moisturizer will truly work on your dry, parched skin?  Every product claims theirs is the best.  Or???  Do you check out blogs and websites?  Everyone has a favorite.  There are the “high dollar” skin care products…are they worth it?  Or…are the homemade concoctions the way to go…simple (well, not always) easy and affordable.   Skin Care is one of the most confusing things in life.  My advice: Ignore all the information that is being thrown at you, and look for formulas that contain the following ingredients.  These ingredients are scientifically proven to improve dry skin:

    Anti-Oxidants

Antioxidants are a group of natural and synthetic ingredients that protect skin by limiting the production of free radicals, which can damage skin cells.  Why is this important? Dry skin is caused when the outer layers of the skin lose their ability to maintain normal moisture levels (It is not because you are not drinking enough water!)  Unless you have had dry skin most of your life, this is a result of a variety of environmental factors including sun damage, pollution, smoking and alcohol use, or you have used products that have harmed your skin’s barrier. Antioxidants can do a lot for the health and appearance of your skin…from calming inflamed skin…to tightening and toning…to reducing the signs of aging.   Antioxidants can prevent some of the degenerative effects in skin caused by sun exposure. Sun damage is the #1 cause of wrinkles and other signs of aging.  Popular antioxidants include Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin E (Tocopherol),  Alpha Lipoic Acid, Beta Carotene, CoQ10, Green Tea, and Retinoids.

    Skin Identical/Skin Repairing Ingredients

Skin-identical/skin-repairing ingredients are substances between skin cells that keep those cells connected to help maintain skin’s barrier. A healthy, intact barrier lets skin look smooth, soft, and moist…exactly the opposite of dry skin! There are many skin-identical ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, cholesterol, and ceramides.  Hyaluronic acid is an amazing humectant that holds one thousand times its weight in water. You can think of hyaluronic acid as a wafer sponge that fills and plumps out your skin.   As an ingredient in skincare, it is unfortunately too large a molecule to travel into the dermis of the skin- so it sits on the surface layer of the skin, where it is a good moisturizing ingredient.  Ceramides are necessary for their water-retention capacity as well as for barrier repair and cell regulation. Adding ceramides to skincare products can help restore the skin’s moisture barrier.

    Emollients

Emollients are lubricating ingredients that moisturize your skin directly, instead of just attracting moisture to your skin like humectants do.  They coat your skin so it can retain its moisture, prevent water loss and have a softening, protective, and smoothing effect on the skin. Preventing water loss is key in maintaining skin’s moisture balance.  Emollients soften skin and seal in moisture, creating a protective barrier on the surface.  They may be fluid or thick in texture and include shea butter, cocoa butter, mineral oil, lanolin, petroleum, cetyl alcohol, olive oil, fatty acids such as linoleic acid, glycerin, triglycerides, and fatty alcohols, among many others.

    Anti-Inflammatory

Anti-inflammatory ingredients are any ingredients that reduce signs of inflammation, such as swelling, tenderness, pain, itching, or redness. Many antioxidants fall into this category, but there are many others that do as well – and all are good options for dry or very dry skin.  Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid and is an effective and powerful exfoliant that helps keep pores clear by exfoliating inside the hair follicle. It is related to aspirin, which has anti-inflammatory properties, so it is usually better tolerated than glycolic acid.  AHAs slough off dead skin cells that cause pimple-producing clogged pores and leave you with smoother, softer skin. They can be applied all over the face. Types of AHAs include glycolic and lactic acid, also.  Papaya is another one of Nature’s best anti-inflammatories and skin exfoliators.  It has special enzymes called papain, which act as an exfoliation agent by breaking down the surface of the skin cells, locking in moisture, reducing pore size and keeping the wrinkles at bay.

So…now that you know the benefits of these wonderful ingredients and how they improve your skin,  especially the anti-aging benefits…what is your take on this?  Research your skin care products…get informed on what you want to accomplish with your skin care regimen…check out the ingredients before you buy…and Happy Shopping!  Your face will tell your story.  What is it going to say?
